To achieve these goals, the UR-GE project is being implemented under the leadership of the Izmir Commodity Exchange.

Damlayag established in 1993 in Kemalpasa, Izmir,Türkiye. (Moved Torbalı in 2020) Damlayag has been a proud supplier of bulk olive oil to many leading commercial entities. We are committed to extending the reach of Turkish olive oil and various gourmet products, such as an array of infused oils, to our discerning customers both domestically and global.

Our journey started with the noble goal of trading olive oil in the local market, sourced directly from farmers. The launch of the NIFELYA brand in 2003 and Tuncelli brand in 2024 marked a significant milestone, focusing on providing consumers with high-quality olive oil. Embracing innovation, Damla Yağ has expanded its product range to include a wide variety of unique items, especially infused oils. This expansion is backed by our in-factory laboratory, where we meticulously create and examine these unique products.

Merko, established in 1982, is a publicly traded tomato processor. The company started tomato paste production in 1995 at its Tepecik factory and, within a few years, built an integrated system by adding two new paste lines and a diced tomato line. Always focusing on sustainability, Merko invested in diced and whole peeled tomato lines for HoReCa use in 2021, expanding its warehouse capacity to 3,000 m², and in 2023, with the addition of new packaging lines, it also entered retail production, increasing its storage capacity to 6,000 m². In 2025, the company commissioned its Passata filling line in glass bottles and, as of October, also commenced sauce production. Today, with its factory built on an area of 136,000 m², Merko Gıda is among the world’s leading tomato processors.
