This handcrafted black tea is carefully made by skilled artisans at the Ambulawa Tea Estate in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Kandy is a mid-grown tea region, and nearby is the Sabaragamuwa area, one of Sri Lanka’s well-known low-grown regions.

Grown in this rare area where mid-grown and low-grown regions meet, the tea has the clean and refined character of Kandy, beautifully balanced with the rich body and honey-like sweetness of Sabaragamuwa. The result is an exceptional black tea with great depth and balance.

This tea is grown without the use of pesticides and produced using a circular farming method. Natural fish meal and fish remains are used as fertilizer. This special tea was made after many careful checks and tastings, based on visits to tea gardens in Taiwan.
It comes from Alishan, one of Taiwan’s most famous tea areas.This is a seasonal spring high-mountain tea.
The tea has very little bitterness and a smooth, soft taste.
It has the creamy and gently sweet aroma that Jin Xuan oolong is known for.

Even after the second and third brews, the tea continues to offer a clear fragrance and rich body, allowing you to enjoy its deep and layered flavor until the last cup.
