This handcrafted black tea is carefully made by skilled artisans at the Ambulawa Tea Estate in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Kandy is a mid-grown tea region, and nearby is the Sabaragamuwa area, one of Sri Lanka’s well-known low-grown regions.

Grown in this rare area where mid-grown and low-grown regions meet, the tea has the clean and refined character of Kandy, beautifully balanced with the rich body and honey-like sweetness of Sabaragamuwa. The result is an exceptional black tea with great depth and balance.

This tea is grown without the use of pesticides and produced using a circular farming method. Natural fish meal and fish remains are used as fertilizer. By reducing environmental impact and making good use of local resources, this sustainable approach supports the SDGs and allows you to enjoy the tea with confidence and peace of mind.
