Maruhiko Sake Brewery strives to create new, delicious sake by boldly tackling changing lifestyles while adhering to traditional sake brewing techniques.
Eliminating the "alcohol smell" of traditional sake, Mie's Kanbai is a refined sake with a fruity, mild, and highly transparent taste, making it a new-generation sake that pairs well with both Japanese and Western cuisine.
In addition to traditional sake brewing, we are also taking on new challenges in collaboration with Japanese anime.
We work hard every day to create sake that "spreads in the mouth and disappears in the throat."

It has won gold medals at the National New Sake Competition six consecutive times in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2007, and 2008. It won the Platinum Award at Sake-China 2020, an overseas sake competition. You can enjoy its fruity and elegant aroma and clean taste.

This is a regular sake made with 100% rice grown in Mie Prefecture. It is a masterpiece brewed in 1968 by Suzuki Tetsuo, the sixth generation owner. That year, the weather and rice quality were excellent, so he decided to brew it. The new sake had a good taste and balance, so he decided to try aging it, and that's how it is today. It has a fantastical aroma and a mysterious taste. It is the oldest sake in Japan.
