Khachen（カチェン）**は、アルメニアのヴァヨツ・ゾル高地に拠点を置く家族経営のエステートワイナリーです。
この地域は、世界でも最も古いワイン造りの伝統を持つ土地として知られています。

私たちは、アレニ・ノワール、ヴォスケハット、ハトゥン・ハルジといった土着品種から、少量生産・高標高のワインを造っています。
古来の伝統と現代的な精密さを融合させ、アルメニアの火山性土壌がもたらす純粋さと奥行きを表現した、エレガントでテロワール主導のワインを生み出しています。

2023年ヴィンテージのAreni Classicは、2025年デキャンタ・ワールド・ワイン・アワード（DWWA）で金賞を受賞し、私たちの高品質なワイン造りへの取り組みを証明しました。
現在、Khachen はアメリカ合衆国へ輸出しています。

We are a family owned and operated boutique winery situated in Vernashen village, in the Vayots Dzor region of Armenia. We work with grapes grown on our own estate and also collaborate with local farmers. To us, winemaking is an art, reflecting our passion and deep love in every bottle. The name KRYA, which means turtle in Armenian, was chosen to symbolize longevity, fertility, vitality, and patience. Our winegrowing and winemaking approach emphasizes the utmost respect for nature. We refrain from using herbicides and employ only biological practices, limiting treatments to a minimum.
Reviving abandoned century-old vineyards with modern cultivation techniques by shaping them to embrace sustainable practices is a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. The careful restoration of these historic vineyards not only breathes new life into the land but also honors the legacy of those who tended to the vines before us. In winemaking, we rely on native yeasts and minimal interventions, avoiding finings and using only a moderate amount of SO2.

ALTTERRAワインは、スイスで最も著名かつ歴史あるワイン醸造所の一つ、St. Jakobskellerei Schuler & Cie AG Schwyz（1694年創立）によってアルメニアに設立されました。私たちのブドウ畑は標高1,400〜1,500メートルに位置し、70年に及ぶ樹齢のブドウの木を所有しており、卓越したミネラル感、バランスの取れた酸味、複雑な風味を持つブドウを生産しています。

私たちは、自生の（固有の）ブドウ品種を専門に扱い、地域の本来の特性を守り続けています。

オーガニック農法を実践しており、経験豊富なイタリア人コンサルタントと協力して定期的な検査を行い、最高品質を確保しています。

私たちのワインは、それぞれの起源の物語を伝え、地域の伝統、熟練した技術、そして環境への配慮を兼ね備えています。

Everything starts with a dream… In 2004 making wine was simply a hobby, which kept enticing Tevan Poghosyan to the point of starting MOONQ family winery in 2021. It gave birth to MOONQ wines, which testify to one’s ability to create, as well as to the vitality and renaissance of a community.
