Stork Armenian wines hail from an independent family owned winery and vineyards, where grapes are hand-picked and selected to produce wines oozing with character. Our vineyards are high altitude at over 1000 meters. Winemaking dates back to over 6000 years in Armenia, where an ancient wine making facility was found in the Areni cave.
Our brand name Stork is a tribute to the magnificent birds that make their nests from the vine clippings of the vineyard and fill the site with natural beauty. Stork wines has received gold and other medals from Decanter, IWSC, London Wine Competition, Gilbert&G

製品の特徴
This unique wine combines indigenous Armenian Areni grapes and deeply coloured Montepulciano, the only such 2023 vintage blend in the world. The soft fruit flavours of Montepulciano marry well with the elegant and versatile Areni. Four months of aging in French oak barrels gave the wine its velvety structure.

Tasting notes and pairing suggestions: well-balanced white wine with elegant aromatic undertones, fresh and intense aromas like apple, pear and citrus, with some minerality as well. On the palate it is well rounded, with light to medium body and nice acidity that gives the wine its crispiness. Pairs well with seafood, vegetables, chicken and other dishes. Can also be enjoyed on its own as an appetizer / aperitif.
