Kimise Soy Sauce: A Tradition of Mellow Flavor Since 1866
Founded in 1866 in Okayama, Kimise Soy Sauce continues to pursue exceptional taste while honoring its long-standing traditions. We produce a variety of seasonings, including soy sauce and yuzu ponzu.
Our most distinctive feature is the aging process in large Bizen-ware clay vats. The unglazed Bizen stoneware naturally removes impurities, resulting in a remarkably mellow and gentle flavor.
We are committed to safety and peace of mind, using 100% rare Japanese whole soybeans. Since 1998, we have utilized light-shielding paper cartons to preserve quality while reducing our environmental impact. Experience a true masterpiece nurtured by the climate of the Seto Inland Sea, designed to enrich your dining table.

We use authentic brewed soy sauce made with high-quality domestic whole soybeans.
We focus on five grains that have been popular since ancient times - whole soybeans, wheat, rice, millet, and foxtail millet - and aim to create a richer flavor by bringing out the natural richness and umami of each grain. This soy sauce has a mellow taste, with a balanced flavor and aroma from the five grains. To ensure safe and delicious taste, we do not use any chemical seasonings, and are pursuing new flavors that are suitable for modern dining tables.
