Specialities,Sales point
The subtle, hand-carved texture created by skilled artisans gradually becomes more comfortable and easier to hold the more you use the chopsticks. The finely textured tips prevent food from slipping, so even slippery noodles can be held securely. Once you try them, you won’t want to let them go.
Finished with natural urushi lacquer, these chopsticks are safe and reliable for everyday use. We offer complimentary re-lacquering of the tips. (This service is available at our directly operated stores and department store counters. For mail-in service, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.)
The black chopsticks are made from ebony, and the red chopsticks are made from Manilkara wood. Two lengths are available: 23.5 cm and 21.5 cm.
By adding a name engraving, the chopsticks can become an even more personal and meaningful gift.
They can also be presented in a red washi paper box set.
The “Hashiro” portable chopstick set, which adapts the Kezuri chopsticks for travel, was selected by the Japanese government as an official gift for world leaders at the G7 Toyako Summit and the Ise-Shima Summit, in recognition of its exceptional craftsmanship and technical excellence. - Countries of Trade
