At MORI KOUGEI’s booth, we present wood-based materials designed from aesthetic expression to finishing techniques and fire safety compliance, using TSUKI-ITA, paper-thin natural wood veneer.
The main highlight is TSUKI-ITA PANELS, fire-resistant decorative veneer panels with high design freedom, including wood marquetry patterns. These panels have passed fire performance evaluation tests and are currently awaiting ministerial certification, offering new options for architectural projects where wood design was previously restricted.
We also introduce custom table projects applying TSUKI-ITA processing expertise for interior and furniture use, with customization in wood species, size, shape, tabletop design, and multiple finishes including Ai-Urushi, presented through reference materials.
In addition, RAYS PLATE ROUND L – Ai-Urushi, an award-winning wooden plate finished with natural indigo and raw urushi lacquer, showcases the durability, water resistance, and expressive color of Ai-Urushi.
Through these materials, the booth proposes new possibilities for wood use in hospitality and commercial spaces.
