The carrots used are grown by Sasaki Farm (Toyako Town) under the theme of “Diversity and Environment,” producing highly nutritious and vibrant carrots.
Since 2013, all carrot cultivation has been fully converted to natural farming methods.
No fertilizers or pesticides are used during cultivation, following a sustainable circular farming approach.
The carrots are grown in mineral-rich volcanic ash soil in well-ventilated highland fields.
To enhance sweetness and umami, harvested carrots are stored under refrigeration to allow natural sugar maturation.
Harvesting is carried out year-round (including winter “Snow Carrots”).
As a result, these carrots are rich in nutrients and contribute to building a healthy body. - Countries of Trade
