Specialities,Sales point
This purple sweet potato shochu is crafted from ‘Purple Sweet Road’ purple sweet potatoes grown under contract in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture. Using proprietary distillation techniques, we produce a high-alcohol base spirit. Aging this base spirit in American oak barrels traditionally used for whiskey creates a pleasant taste where the inherent softness of the purple sweet potato blends with the barrel's toasty aroma. Its 42% alcohol content not only positions it as the pinnacle of shochu but also establishes it as a new category expanding the possibilities for Japanese distilled spirits.
