Since our founding in 1874 (Meiji 7), Sato Jozo has continued to
preserve traditional techniques and flavors, producing mame miso,
tamari soy sauce, and a wide variety of seasonings.

We are committed to the traditional wooden-barrel fermentation method
for mame miso, and under the brand name Shippoh Miso & Soy Sauce,
our products have long been cherished by the local community. Today,
we are bringing these traditional flavors to the world, where interest in
fermented foods continues to grow.

From products for retail stores to those for restaurants and food
service businesses, as well as offerings for food trading companies
and wholesalers, we provide a broad range of solutions. With a rich
collection of proprietary recipes refined by professional craftsmanship,
we also support private-label development to meet the diverse needs
of our customers.
