The brewery was founded in 1689 in Obasute, an area known for its scenic view of the moon, which has been enchanting its visitors. For over 300 years since then, it has been brewing Junmai sake in the same brewery building in a traditional manner by hand. “Tanada” and “Obasute Masamune” are some of our signature products.
Naganomeijo is committed to produce safe and secure Japanese sake, adhering to local production and local consumption, in order to“contribute to the local communities that have been supportive for many years.”
Recently, we have been working on creating unique and innovative sake for the younger generation and women. We also actively provide pairings of local food and our sake at events in various countries around the world.
