The beef certification system "Tokushima Mitsuboshi Beef" was established by Tokushima Prefecture in 2019. Within the crossbreed category, the "Silver Star" is the only Japanese brand beef that requires JGAP livestock certification as a condition for recognition. In addition to JGAP livestock certification, the governor issues certification for each carcass that meets the criteria of being over 25 months of age at the time of shipment and having a meat quality grade of 3 or higher.

This Tokushima Mitsuboshi Beef (Silver Star) is recognized by companies working toward the SDGs as beef that is safe, reliable, and delicious.
