Kominami Farm has lasted more than 120 years having produced only Mikan in Tamura district, Yuasa, Wakayama Prefecture. The seven generations succeeded the terraced fields that provide ideal water drainage in the fertile soil. In addition, the Farm’s location is best to grow Mikan with abundant sunshine and brisk sea breezes. Arida Mikan is named as “Tamura Mikan”, and regarded as the highest-grade brand. Kominami Farm started to produce the original processed products with a desire that everyone can enjoy delicious Mikan throughout the year, for Mikan’s harvest season is limited from fall to winter.
