This natural sun-dried sea salt is slowly produced using only seawater from the lagoon of New Caledonia, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.
With a sodium chloride content of 91.4%, the remaining 8.6% consists of naturally occurring minerals derived from seaweed and lagoon sediment, including calcium, magnesium, and potassium. These minerals are present in a well-balanced composition, giving the salt a mild and deep flavor.

Due to trace elements originating from the clay-rich salt beds, the salt has a subtle grayish hue. It is highly versatile, suitable for everyday cooking as well as for finishing dishes.
