Its refreshing aroma and flavor make it ideal as a mixer for alcoholic beverages or as a fragrant accent in cooking.

Simply drizzle green mikan juice over fresh seafood to enjoy a burst of bright, citrus aroma that fills the palate.

  • Specialities,Sales point

Made exclusively from Unshu mandarins grown in Ehime, Japan.

In late August, young fruits—about the size of golf balls—are carefully thinned from the trees (a process that improves the size and quality of the remaining harvest). These green mandarins are pressed whole, including the peel, to produce 100% straight juice.

While more tart than fully ripened mandarins, the acidity is gentler than lemon, offering a bright, refreshing aroma and flavor. This makes it ideal as a mixer for alcoholic beverages or as a fragrant accent in cooking.

Akehama is also known for its thriving fishing industry, including whitebait fishing. Drizzled over freshly landed raw whitebait, this green mikan juice delivers a clean, crisp taste with a vibrant citrus aroma that fills the palate.

This product is part of our initiative to give new value to thinned green mandarins that were once discarded.
