This rice-based fortified sake is inspired by Otoso, Japan's oldest liqueur. It is made with mirin as the base, and 16 types of spices and herbs are added, and fortified with shochu. It can be enjoyed in a variety of situations, such as as an aperitif like vermouth or as a cocktail base.
