Grape cultivation in Tsuno Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, began shortly after the war. Despite the adverse conditions of a tropical climate with plenty of sunshine but also heavy rainfall and frequent typhoons during harvest season, our ancestors built this grape-growing region through hard work and ingenuity. Based on the belief that "wine should be a local drink," we continue to use 100% locally grown grapes to produce wines that express the local climate. Wines made from grapes grown in Miyazaki's abundant sunshine have a fruity and vibrant style that pairs perfectly with Miyazaki cuisine.
