This product is a version of “Matsukawaura Kakeru Aosa” without animal extracts, intended for overseas export. Dried aosa seaweed from Matsukawaura, processed through our unique cleaning and foreign matter removal steps, is marinated with ingredients like garlic and sesame oil. Its key feature is being finished as a seasoning that preserves the crisp texture while enhancing the aosa's flavor. This “crispy texture” is novel for overseas customers, and we often receive surprised reactions during tastings.
Furthermore, as it contains no animal extracts, it is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Since foreign object contamination is a common challenge in seaweed processing, we carefully inspect the raw aosa by hand and meticulously remove any foreign matter using tweezers. Additionally, we have carefully adjusted the blend and process for areas prone to discoloration from oil marinating, ensuring a balance between color and quality in the final product.
